Economic Factors Affecting the Patent Co-operation Treaty
Identification of determinants of patenting decisions. Comparison of Intellectual Property protection from national regional and international filings.
Study on the possible impact of the financial Turmoil in the emerging markets, particularly the Asian Financial Crisis, on the Patent Cooperation Treaty of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and to develop an analytical Framework to:

Feasibility study for a project aimed at strengthening the leading training institutions for senior civil servants in China.
Governance - Justice - Transparency
Support to the Alignment of Technical Regulations and Enhancement of the Quality Infrastructure
The project’s objective is to support the development of a ‘business enabling’ environment by updating the approach to standards and technical regulations and quality infrastructure and to improve the compatibility between Turkmen standards and technical regulations and international practices, also with the scope of increasing the opportunities for market access for economic operators and the perspective of further alignment of technical regulations to WTO standards.
Support to Judicial Institutions in Lebanon
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to a more independent and performing judiciary system in Lebanon, thus increasing its legitimacy and trust among the Lebanese public.
Final Evaluation of the Support to SMEs/SMIs and to the Mastering of Information and Communications Technology Programme (PME II)
The general objective of the Programme PME II was to improve the competitiveness of Algerian SMEs, in order to help them win back the internal market and expand to the international market so as to benefit from the opportunities offered by the international agreements and by the market opening.
Final Evaluation of the Sefa 2 Project on Strengthening of the Teaching of French in Afghanistan
Following a first phase of the project, SEFA2 (Soutien à l’enseignement de français en Afghanistan) is embedded inside of the French Department in Kabul University (DFUK). Its main objectives are to train or retrain French-speaking professionals (120 students) through the drafting of new curricula and of the development of governance procedures aiming at becoming references at national level.
