Provide support to the Lebanese authorities in defining the overall strategy of an EC funded support programme and the operational work plan for the first year of intervention through the organisation of a panning workshop and identification mission.
Identify, design and organise a set of realist and coherent activities gathered within components of a broader project, matching the strategic priorities of the Lebanese Authorities, the need of the trade sector’s actors and the EU commitments and obligations.
Assessment of the current state of play: needs and priorities, business and trade environment, pending legislation related to trade and relevant to the WTO accession, identify direct and indirect beneficiaries. Technical support to work groups and project beneficiaries.
