Technical assistance is order to support a penitentiary reform in Georgia. The main objective is to reduce corruption and promote human rights in the penitentiary system. The project has to provide viable methods so as to:

-achieve a strengthened, transparent and decentralised management structure;

– improve penitentiary regimes to achieve maximum safety, security, protection of human rights and purposeful activity;

– Develop a strengthened partnership with relevant government departments and civil society
